The hollow fabric cells hold air and add an insulating layer at the window. Performance depends on the fabric, finished fit and window. We can help you compare the fabrics and configurations for your room.
Honeycomb or roller shades for bedrooms?
Honeycomb adds a soft pleated finish and a cellular layer at the window. Roller shades give a flatter, simpler look. Both have room-darkening choices; compare physical samples and the light gaps around your window before deciding.
What is the Eclipse honeycomb option?
Eclipse combines a white sheer section above the cellular fabric. It gives you a softly filtered view through the upper part of the shade, with more fabric coverage below.
Can I choose light-filtering or blackout honeycomb fabric?
Classic and Premium collections include light-filtering and room-darkening options. Fabrics labelled BO block more light through the material, but light can still enter around the edges. Compare our blackout blinds if a darker room is your priority.
How do I clean honeycomb shades?
Use gentle care to protect the fabric and cell shape. Ask us for the care instructions for your chosen collection before vacuuming, spot cleaning or using a cleaning product.
What controls are available for honeycomb shades?
The current Novo honeycomb range offers cordless lift. Tell us about your window height, access, children and pets so we can recommend a suitable configuration and explain how to use it.
How long do custom honeycomb blinds take?
Made in about 1 week. Installed within 2–3 weeks of approval. We will confirm the timing for your fabric and order during the quote process.
